Esterel Technologies SCADE Suite has been used to design the complete application software for the EEC. SCADE Editor, the graphical front-end module of SCADE Suite, eased communication and requirement transmission between all the parties involved in the design, development and certification of the engine controller. SCADE libraries allowed important reuse of elements from current and previous projects.

SCADE Simulator enabled delivering validated requirements to subcontractors in charge of final software integration. The use of SCADE KCG Qualified Code Generator together with the Qualified SCADE Model Test Coverage module suppresses the requirement to perform MC/DC testing on generated C code. As a result, projects are completed early and saving resources, time and money.
