Production Proven Solutions: ANSALDO
ANSALDO SIGNAL has been using SCADE Suite on several large production projects to develop complex systems such as interlocking and train control.
SCADE has been used to specify the base signalling functions (usually over 100 functions) and to model the environment in compliance with the project principles and rules, and with the most stringent certification constraints.
These systems present a high level of complexity instantiated into the whole infrastructure: over 100 base models and several 1000s of Input and Outputs.
Many projects ended up in concrete operational improvements, that allowed both ANSALDO and their end customers to meet stringent cost and delay constraints.
SCADE is particularly relevant for our activities due to its strict modularity; a function once designed will always behave the same regardless of the context of usage.
