Esterel Technologies Academic Program for SCADE

The Esterel Technologies Academic Program is designed to support educators using SCADE for classroom teaching. Esterel Technologies offers universities access to SCADE licenses on a yearly basis. The program allows up to 20 simultaneous users on a LAN, free of charge. SCADE licenses for universities have no functionality limitations; the product features are identical to SCADE full-powered commercial tools.

The SCADE licenses granted under the Academic Program are one-year licenses with free renewal terms and conditions. If applicable, a university license renewal includes a free upgrade to the licensed software.

In addition to the license,we provide the following as part of the Academic Program:

• SCADE training material
• SCADE electronic technical documentation set

Cost for optional hotline support is 1000 € per year.

University Contribution

Esterel Technologies is interested in maintaining very close relationships with universities in order to improve its product. As a member of the Academic Program, you can help us reach this goal. In return, for providing you with our free product software, we will regularly ask for your input on our tool. Your feedback will be requested regarding your use of the product such as bug detection, any application realized with the product, and any additional information that can help us improve SCADE.
