SCADE Suite Qualified Testing Environment™ (SCADE QTE)
SCADE QTE is a customizable and qualifiable toolset, handled by Esterel Technologies' consultants, that supports the SCADE Combined Testing Process applied on your software project or on your program.
SCADE QTE speeds up the design of Test Cases, facilitates the execution of TCs either on host or on target and generates Test Conformance Reports (qualified).

Specify Test Cases
SCADE QTE Test Form:
- Front end for test specification
- Developed using tools such as Microsoft® Access® 2000, or Microsoft® Word or IBM® Rational® DOORS®.
- Traceability info directly extracted from the specification form
Prepare Test Vectors
- SCADE QTE enables the use of optimized spreadsheets to create test vectors that carry behaviors defined by engineers.
- SCADE QTE enables the use of math tools (such a Scilab®) to specify test vectors that have virtually continuous behaviors (such as complex filters).
- SCADE QTE optimizes the definition of test vectors when complex matrix computations are involved.
- SCADE QTE is based on a neutral comma-separated-value input format.
Execute and Report
SCADE QTE-MTC:
- Execute a SCADE model with one or more input scenarios and produce the actual outputs.
- Generate a test conformance report based on comparison of the actual output data to reference data.
- Automatically operate MTC to generate the model test coverage report
SCADE QTE-Test-On-Target-COTS-Tools:
- Prepare test scripts for conformance testing with commercial off the shelf tools such as IBM RTRT.
- Drive the Test on Target tool: execute tests on target, issue Conformance Test and Coverage reports.
