Esterel Technologies & Wind River Partnership

Esterel Technologies and Wind River have partnered to create the integration of SCADE Suite and VxWorks 653 platform provides a solution for the rapid and reliable deployment of DO-178B / ED-12B systems. This joint solution combines Esterel Technologies' correct-by-construction SCADE Suite and SCADE Display design tools integrated with Wind River's VxWorks 653 Real Time Operating System (RTOS). This combination enables code generated directly from SCADE's KCG DO-178B Level A Qualified Code Generator to be integrated immediately with Wind River's VxWorks 653 RTOS, reducing time-to-market and minimizing certification and deployment risk. This solution combines the SCADE KCG Qualification Kit, Wind River's Certification Artefacts DVD, and Wind River's DO-178B qualified ARINC 653 XML configuration tool to accelerate safety certifications. This joint solution also enables platform providers, systems integrators and application developers a cost effective route from application design and development, to systems integration and RTCA DO-178B / DO-254 and EUROCAE ED-12B and / ED-80 certification that is also compliant with DO-297, and standard controlling the integration of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems.
