Efficient and Cost Effective Model-Based Development for EN 50128 (SIL 3/4) Certified Applications

Webinar Topic:

Are you tasked with the development of EN 50128 compliant software for railway applications? Do you need to ensure your software design process is in full compliance with the EN 50128 standard and related certification process? Are you concerned about cost and productivity issues associated with the development of EN 50128 applications?

Join Esterel Technologies and Wind River for an introduction to developing certified applications under EN 50128. In this webcast we will introduce the value of the formal model-based design, verification, and implementation technologies offered by Esterel Technologies' SCADE Suite® to develop critical applications under EN 50128. We will also look at how SCADE Suite directly integrates with the Wind River COTS platform for CERT saving the development team time and money delivering applications under EN 50128.In essence, we will look at the challenges developers face when confronted with EN 50128 up to SIL 4 compliance and how the combined Esterel Technologies and Wind River solution helps them increase their productivity while maintaining the highest level of safety and reliability in their applications.

You Will Learn:

  • Examining issues faced by developers of EN 50128 SIL 3/4 compliant applications.
  • Establishing the proper modeling approach for the development of safety-related EN 50128 applications.
  • Overcoming the challenges in the development of safety-related applications, in terms of specification, verification, and efficiency of the resulting software.
  • Using proper modeling techniques and certified automatic code generation from models to drastically improve productivity while maintaining the highest level of safety and reliability.
  • How reusable COTS operating system technology with certification evidence can reduce risk and improve time to market.

This webinar is primarily intended for those involved in the development of EN 50128 safety-related software designs for all individual systems which may exist within the overall railway control and protection systems.

Who Should Attend:

This web seminar is primarily intended for decision makers and project managers involved in EN 50128 safety-related product designs for all individual systems that may exist within the overall railway control and protection systems.
