Esterel Technologies joins AUTOSAR as Premium Member

ELANCOURT, France — October 17^th 2005

Esterel Technologies, a leading world-wide supplier of model based-design, validation and verification tools for the correct-by-construction development of safety-critical embedded software applications, today announced that AUTOSAR, a development partnership for the establishment of an open standard for automotive electric/electronics (E/E) architectures, has incorporated ESTEREL TECHNOLOGIES as a new premium member. AUTOSAR was founded jointly in 2003 by major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers and now includes a large number of automotive, electronics, semiconductor and software companies. ESTEREL TECHNOLOGIES is looking forward to contributing to its objectives.
