This two-day event has been designed to enable an open discussion on low-cost time-triggered technologies and field buses.
For more electric aircraft digital data communication is a key technology for tight integration of safety-critical systems. Data communication components represent only a fraction of the total aircraft costs, but determine the ability of integrators and suppliers to create system architectures at lower costs and weight. Because of their specific features, time-triggered field buses can play a significant role for the reduction of system lifecycle costs.
