North American Marketing Manager

Function: North American Marketing Manager for Esterel Technologies, Inc.
Reporting: The North American Marketing Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Business Development of Esterel Technologies, Inc.
Location: United States. The North American Marketing Manager shall operate from a “home” office and “will be required to travel throughout the USA and to a lesser extent throughout Europe and the Far East”.
Start Date: as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
General Planning and Execution
- Assist V.P. Corporate Marketing in the execution of the marketing plan and responding to internal and external requests for marketing support
- Assist V.P. Corporate Marketing in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that operate within the overall marketing plan
- Contribute to global marketing infrastructure planning and development
- Contribute to global web site and search engine optimization strategy
Event Planning and Execution
- Develop and coordinate North American Trade Show & Seminar events
- Prepare Event Agenda, Invitations, Registration Forms for Customer events.
- Develop media packs & giveaways for trade shows and conferences.
- Serves as liaison between the company and PR agencies, advertising agencies, freelance talent, print suppliers, and other marketing services.
- Track prospective contacts, seminar attendees, event revenues & expense tracking.
- Manage and track the expenses for each event. Ensure budget is managed properly.
- Responsible for Media & Marketing Event Budgets.
- Arrange preparatory meetings for Seminar Events and Trade Shows.
General Public Relations
- Company Newsletters, Prepare Press Releases and Event Announcements.
- Update Company News & Headlines in the corporate website.
- Generate mailings (both printed and electronic) to prospective customers, including thank you letters & trade show passes, etc.
- Validate and fulfill Request for Marketing Information. Track requests & mailings.
Lead Generation Engine
- Assists in the development of promotional strategies and product development.
- Establish and execute webinar strategy for North America
- working with the product marketing team to create content, record presentations, deliver presentations and analyze results
- Participate in white paper syndication strategy
- Work with marketing team to properly organize, store, and keep up to date, all sales tools such as brochures, datasheets, and sales presentations
- Work with product marketing on presentation and demonstration strategy for all “shows” that the company participates in.
- Measure and analyze marketing campaign results
Administrative and Logistical Support
- Provide administrative and personal support to Directors, coordinating travel arrangements, & preparing agendas, appointments, and group accommodations for all events.
- Provide general administrative assistance as requested by V.P. Corporate Marketing
Qualifications:
College degree preferred background in Marketing or Public Relations, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, excellent phone skills.
- With excellent organization & communication skills, the ideal candidate will have a team spirit and abilities to work in an international environment. Self-motivated, comfortable working independently, with the ability to work within tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, members, and the general public.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
