Summary
The SCADE Consultant is responsible for creating robust design and engineering solutions for SCADE customers. This work will be characterised by safe, efficient, transparent designs and engineering assistance that can sustain critical reviews of the most stringent safety standards in the world.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The core duties are listed below but the role, in a dynamic and responsive organisation, is not limited to this list.
- Consult as required at customer sites with tact and professionalism.
- Deliver safe, viable and robust SCADE product solutions to customers.
- Work closely with customers to define projects and designs, along with identifying areas to be improved in the customer’s software processes.
- Develop strong relationships with key customer personnel at all levels.
- Be an integral player in the building of cohesive Esterel/customer partnerships capable of successfully completing complex projects.
Education/Experience/Abilities
General requirements include:
- First Degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in creating and delivering software products in the mission-critical and safety-critical application domains, in Aerospace, Automotive, nuclear or transportation industries.
- Familiarity with model-based design technology, including software, hardware and prototyping solutions. Knowledge of SCADE (DO-178B), MatLab/Simulink and MATRIXx would be advantageous.
- Fluency and programming experience with C is required.
